GEN III REAR SUMP CAST ALUMINUM OIL PAN KIT W/O VVT. DESIGNED TO WORK WITH SOME A/B/E BODY AFTERMARKET FRONT SUSPENSION SYSTEMS ON INSTALLATION OF A 6.1L/5.7L/7.0L NON VVT ENGINES

FITS 2003-2008 5.7L TRUCK AND CAR ENGINES,2005-2010 6.1L ENGINES, AND ALUMINUM BLOCK NON VVT 7.0/426 ENGINES

COMES COMPLETE WITH CAST ALUMINUM REAR SUMP OIL PAN, OIL PUMP PICKUP, OIL LEVEL TUBE & OIL LEVEL INDICATOR

NOTE: 1-WORKS ON SOME  ALTERKATION FRONT SUSPENSION AND SOME OTHER AFTERMARKET FRONT SUSPENSIONS

2-MOST APPLICATIONS, REPLACING THE GASKET IS NOT NECESSARY. FACTORY WINDAGE TRAY HAS A PERMA GASKET AFFIXED TO IT. GENERALLY, THOROUGHLY CLEANING OIL RESIDUE FROM WINDAGE TRAY AND OLD SMEAR OF RTV FROM TRAY AND BLOCK IS ALL REQUIRED. DON'T FORGET TO PUT THIN SMEAR OF RTV BACK AT TIMING COVER, AND REAR MAIN SEAL MATING POINTS

3-REAR SUMP PAN IS ONLY 8" DEEP (SEE ATTACHED ROUGH SKETCH COMPARING FRONT SUMP TO REAR SUMP PANS)

4-FOR 2009-2015 5.7L ENGINES AND 2011-2015 6.4L ENGINES USE 64RAKIT

5-ALWAYS CHECK PAN DEPTH AND OIL PICK CLEARANCE, AND ADJUST IF NOT CORRECT. PICKUP SHOULD BE 1/8" FROM BOTTOM OF OIL PAN

6-On 5.7L Engines you may need to order 61RA333AA Main Stud & 61RA756 Nut on many 5.7L engines that originally came with a front sump oil pan (such as Car Engines). The stud and nut supports the extended oil pickup to the rear of the engine. NOT INCLUDED

NOTE: WILL NOTE WORK OR FIT ON 6.2L HELL CAT ENGINES

Use MOPAR RTV SEALER (5010884AD) for more than excellent sealing ability.
